Financial Costing Officer

Scope of duties and responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

  • System Control
  • Conduct review programs to assess potential loss may be incurred or has incurred because of inefficiency in the Company’s operation
  • Perform test of control by conducting physical check on the Company’s properties and follow up procedures in safeguarding of the assets
  • Review programs to ensure the policies and procedures are carried out properly
  • Coordinate and control implementation projects for the time period to ensure all objectives are met
  • Perform analytical procedures on the financial and operating information to identify any unusual activities
  • Financial Costing & Budgeting
  • Assist estate clerk, accounting officers/manager on preparation of plantation budget
  • Ensure Mature and Immature budgets preparation using standardized format are done accurately and timely
  • Weekly/monthly update meeting with regional and head offices
  • Monitor all budget expenditures compares and checks with purchases requests and orders
  • Inform relevant person-in-charge of any discrepancy arises
  • All payments requested and made by estate site are to be verified with complete proper documentation before contract works are allowed
  • Using plantation and accounting SOP and policy to audit field works and check the results of
  • Prepare monthly financial statements on a fully computerized environment and the required reconciliation on a regular basis
  • Prepare operational and statutory payments
  • Carry-out Creditors and Debtors management activities
  • Familiar with General Ledger/Account Receivables/Account Payables


Position is based in estate: Palangkaraya, Jambi


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree S1 in Accounting/Business Administration
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting or audit work experience
  • Palm oil plantation & mills experience is big advantage
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Personal attitude: loyal, mature, smart, responsible, hard worker and highly initiative
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record as a contributory member to senior management team with the ability to work alongside with coworkers
